Mont Rochelle’s The Country Kitchen restaurant reopens its doors to guests from the beginning of August. Just in time for the start of spring and for those yearning to eat out, visitors will be able to take in the wrap-around views of the Franschhoek Valley with a two- or three-course menu specially created and made with the freshest seasonal ingredients.
Visitors to The Country Kitchen restaurant will be welcome to dine from the 1st August every Saturday and Sunday and public holidays between 11h00 – 16h00 (last seating at 16h00) where they’ll be able to enjoy a delicious a la carte menu as well as having the option of a two- or three-course menu priced at R195 pp and R250 pp (drinks excluded). Whilst Country Kitchen is unable to serve alcohol at this time, the team have put together a selection of mouth-watering mocktails to quench the taste buds as well as a range of non-alcoholic beers, ciders, wines, bubbly and soft and hot drinks to choose from.
Guests will also be able to take the opportunity to wander around the beautiful grounds and for families dining there will be a children’s menu available and the newly installed jungle gym playground will be open to younger visitors to burn off some energy.
While their doors have been temporarily shut, the team have been busy behind the scenes ensuring that Country Kitchen is in a position to welcome back guests in the safest way possible and have been putting in place meticulous new cleaning measures, so that guests can have complete peace of mind when they visit. Whilst there will be no compromise to the incredible dining options on offer, the team have made a few small changes to ensure social distancing and how they present the food that they are sure will reassure guests.
