In the January 2023 issue of the Tatler it was reported that Franschhoek Rugby Club (RFC) was blacklisted from receiving grant-in-aid funding from Stellenbosch Municipality for 5 years. The Tatler has learned that this information was incorrect and that the Municipality’s investigation into RFC’s use of grant-in-aid funding is still ongoing. The Tatler regrets the error.
