You may have noticed some bright new banners outside Good Food & Co. Chef Nico Vorster and his fiancé Kelly, who took over the restaurant in November, have rebranded it as ‘The Deli’ during the day, and ‘The Bistro’ for dinner. Also new are the menus. Rest assured though that the old favourites are still there: the humungous burgers, butternut flapjacks and all of the vegan dishes. You can also still pop by to stock up on your beloved Heat ‘n Eats, oils, chutneys, breads and slices of heavenly cakes.
Nico has now put his own stamp on the menu.
Mornings kick off with bottomless coffee from 07h30 – 09h00, when ordering breakfast, and the lunch menu has been tweaked.
Nico is passionate about sourcing products locally. Always keeping things in season means that the menu at The Bistro changes on a monthly basis: December offers things like Stone Fruit Salad and the Vegan Vegetable Bowl packed with fresh veggies and chickpeas.
Evenings from 18h00 are a family affair at The Bistro with a great kids menu on offer.
